LOVING JEZABEL  Send This Review to a Friend

Hill Harper as Theodorus has a weakness. He loves to sleep with other men's women. In the beginning the premise is amusing, but apart from our seeing a stream of attractive women who bring joy and misery to his life, "Loving Jezebel" soon becomes tedious and sophomoric. Writer-director Kwyn Bader must think the material funnier than it is. As for the romantic side, meeting Ms. Right in the form of Samantha, nicely played by Laurel Holloman, only adds mush to an already soggy mixture. Harper strains to be mischievous, funny and yet sincere, but the silly screenplay is too much to overcome. There's no need to belabor this. Further comment would be superfluous. A Shooting Gallery release.
