ENTRAPMENT  Send This Review to a Friend

The main entrapment will be yours when you pay admission to see this preposterous, weak thriller. The only saving grace is the presence of the two stars, Sean Connery and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Even so, Connery has been seen to much better advantage and Zeta-Jones, although undeniably pretty, is pretty boring here.

For what it's worth, the action concerns efforts to pull off big heists, the most challenging of which is robbing a central Asian bank by means of a break-in and computer manipulation at the millennium. Ever-present is the question of who is doublecrossing whom. Director Jon Amiel must cope with ever more outlandish and unbelievable situations. You don't have to. A 20th Century-Fox release.
