MADE  Send This Review to a Friend

For a brief time it looks as if we may be in for a funny offbeat movie, but it doesn’t take long for Jon Favreau and Vince Vaughn as two bumbling buddies to wear out their welcome in "Made." Off they go on a crime mission that is sure to be screwed up in some way, and after a little while their dimwit humor becomes annoying. It simply grows increasingly boring to spend time with these abrasive characters.

At least there is Peter Falk as a coarse, plainspoken crime boss who has little patience with these misfits. Falk is very funny demeaning them and making demands. Too bad he isn't in the film for longer periods as he's really the only bright spot. Also in the cast are Famke Janssen, Sean Combs, Faizon Love and Vincent Pastore.

The plot isn't really worth talking about. Favreau must bear the credit for having written and directed "Made." An Artisan Entertainment release.
