CHASTAIN TO STAR ON BROADWAY Send This Review to a Friend
Award winning Jessica Chastain, lauded as a hot new and versatile movie actress, is now aiming for Broadway acclaim. She will star in a revival of “The Heiress,” written by Ruth Goetz and Augustus Goetz and first produced on Broadway in 1947. Based on the Henry James novel “Washington Square,” it then became an Oscar-winning movie.
Chastain is not a theater newcomer. For example, she played opposite Al Pacino in the title role of a Los Angeles production of “Salome.” The remounting of “The Heiress” will be directed by Moisés Kaufman and is planned for the coming fall in a theater to be announced.
Chastain’s movie credits include “The Help,” “Tree of Life,” “Coriolanus, “Take Shelter” and ”The Debt.”
